Description
After a year in oak, the 2010 Grist Vineyards Zinfandel demonstrated the effusive bouquet that make this varietal so distinctive. In the blending session, small amounts of Durif (3%), Grenache (1.5%) and Viognier (0.5%) were added, providing additional complexity and tannins for enhanced aging. As with the previous award-winning vintages, the 2010 Zinpiphany® has layers of briary fruit, a nose of crushed raspberries and cinnamon and possesses tremendous appeal. Excellent now, it should develop for several years, complimenting Italian red sauces, pizza, grilled meats and the sophisticated empty glass. We love this wine and are confident that you will, too.
As of 12/2020, my stock of this amazing wine came to an end.
